Job Description
- Audit and redesign key event websites to create cleaner, faster, and more intuitive user journeys.
- Apply UX best practices to enhance athlete navigation, registrations, and key conversion points.
- Recommend and implement creative solutions that elevate the athlete experience and simplify internal workflows.
- Collaborate with marketing, operations, and sponsorship teams to ensure sites reflect the events, current campaigns and branding.
- Improve backend systems and processes for easier updates and management.
- Assist in streamlining and documenting website management processes to improve efficiency across the team.
- Optimise for SEO, site speed, and accessibility, ensuring best practice across all pages.
- Proven experience as a Web Developer or UX/UI Designer, ideally with multi-site management experience.
- Excellent attention to detail and time management.
- Strong understanding of UX principles, accessibility, and responsive design.
- Proficiency in WordPress (Elementor), HTML/CSS, and basic SEO.
- Eye for clean, functional design – you care about how users feel when navigating a site.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with analytics tools (Google Analytics, Hotjar, etc.)
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- (Bonus) Experience analysing UX data (Google Analytics, Hotjar) to inform design decisions.
