Job Description

The Role: This role is all about designing, developing, and maintaining functional, user-focused, professional websites for a diverse range of businesses—supercharged by AI. You will blend traditional development skills with next-gen tools, utilizing command lines and advanced prompting to work smarter and faster. You’ll also get to flex your communication skills, liaising directly with clients to understand their needs and deliver practical, high-value solutions.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Designing and developing websites with a strict focus on user experience, practicality, and functionality.
  • Leveraging AI assistants (like Gemini, Claude, and ChatGPT) to accelerate coding, troubleshoot bugs, and generate creative solutions.
  • Working closely with clients to deliver customized solutions that add value and build lasting relationships.
  • Managing website updates, troubleshooting, and ensuring security across client sites.
  • Working within a mix of platforms, predominantly WordPress and Shopify.
  • Utilizing CLIs and Command Prompt to streamline development workflows, manage environments, and deploy updates.
  • Staying on the bleeding edge of industry trends, AI advancements, and new tech.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience in web design and development (freelance, in-house, or agency—show us your portfolio!).
  • AI Fluency: You know how to speak to AI. You understand advanced prompting and how to get exactly what you need out of tools like Gemini and Claude.
  • Technical Chops: Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and WordPress & Shopify (bonus points for JavaScript).
  • Terminal Comfort: You aren’t afraid of a blinking cursor. You are comfortable using Command Prompt and CLIs for your daily dev tasks.
  • cPanel Navigation: Experience with a multitude of cPanels is needed.
  • Client-Facing Confidence: Excellent communication skills—you’ll be talking directly to clients and collaborating with our team.
  • Problem-Solving Creativity: A love for practical design paired with a driving, can-do attitude.
