Job Description

We’re looking for a Web Developer who thrives in an iterative, product-focused environment where decisions are shaped by real user feedback and measurable outcomes. This isn’t a role for someone who wants to sit back and take tickets — you’ll be building and refining the core interface of a fast-evolving platform used daily by thousands of users. You should be comfortable owning front-end architecture, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and making thoughtful decisions that improve usability, performance, and maintainability.

What You’ll Own

  • Build and maintain customer-facing web applications using React and Next.js, with a focus on performance, responsiveness, and accessibility.
  • Work closely with product designers and backend developers to deliver and iterate on key features that directly impact user experience.
  • Integrate the frontend with APIs (mostly REST, some GraphQL), ensuring smooth data flow and robust error handling.
  • Monitor and optimize Core Web Vitals, especially for high-traffic and media-rich pages.
  • Manage the CI/CD pipeline for web deployments and troubleshoot staging/production issues as needed.
  • Improve legacy components through thoughtful refactoring — explain your choices and prioritize long-term maintainability over quick fixes.

What You’ve Done

  • Built and shipped React-based web apps in a production setting, ideally with server-side rendering via Next.js or similar.
  • Integrated with moderately complex APIs, with attention to caching, token handling, and fallback behavior.
  • Contributed to and maintained component libraries or design systems.
  • Used tools like Sentry, LogRocket, or custom telemetry to trace frontend bugs and improve UX.
  • Worked within a version-controlled workflow (e.g., GitHub or GitLab), with regular code reviews and feature branching.
