Web Developer

Job Description

The ideal candidate is a versatile and experienced IT professional with a strong background in web administration, system management, and cybersecurity. They will be adept at overseeing the full lifecycle of our digital platforms and will thrive on optimizing our technical environment to support our business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Website and Systems Management

– Manage and configure web-based systems, including content management systems (CMS), to ensure optimal functionality.

– Implement and manage robust disaster recovery, security, and backup protocols to secure all web assets and protect company data.

Internal Platform & Technical Support

– Lead the design, implementation, and upkeep of internal web-based tools to support our operations, sales, and marketing teams.

– Develop and manage digital environments for staff onboarding, training, and internal communications.

– Act as the primary point of contact for technical support related to web systems, developing efficient processes to ensure rapid ticket resolution.

System Integration and Optimization

– Ensure the security, scalability, and optimization of the company’s entire digital infrastructure.

– Collaborate with marketing and external vendors to integrate new digital tools, plugins, and technologies that enhance user experience and operational efficiency.

– Proactively monitor website performance and security, identifying and implementing measures to protect against cyber threats and ensure system reliability.

Qualifications:

-Associate or bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

– Proven experience in web administration, IT management, or a similar role.

– Strong understanding of website maintenance, web system configuration, and IT infrastructure management.

– Demonstrated ability to manage internal web platforms and provide reliable technical support.

– Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

– Experience in the travel, tourism, or e-commerce industry is highly desirable.

– Proficiency with common CMS platforms, web hosting environments, and IT support systems.
