Job Description

We’re looking for a Web Developer who can do more than convert Figma files into pixel-perfect pages. This role is for someone who understands the why behind each interaction, isn’t afraid to challenge vague specs, and thrives on building modular, maintainable frontend systems that work across browsers, devices, and user behaviors.

You’ll join a fast-moving team building a SaaS platform used by data scientists, engineers, and enterprise clients—your work needs to scale, load quickly, and adapt to complex states. You’ll also help shape our internal component library (built on Radix and Tailwind) and contribute to decisions about build tooling, testing strategy, and performance optimization.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop dynamic, component-based UIs using React, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and Next.js
  • Optimize render performance and handle complex app state using Zustand or Redux Toolkit
  • Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate REST and GraphQL APIs, ensuring thoughtful error handling and loading states
  • Build and maintain an internal design system that supports dark mode, accessibility, and multi-language support
  • Conduct accessibility audits (WCAG 2.1 AA) and implement changes accordingly
  • Use tools like Playwright and Jest to write meaningful integration and unit tests
  • Participate in code reviews, helping the team uphold clean and expressive code standards
  • Monitor performance with tools like Lighthouse, Sentry, and Vercel Analytics, and proactively fix bottlenecks

Must-Have Experience

  • 3–5 years professional experience building React-based web applications (not just toy projects or CMS themes)
  • Deep understanding of semantic HTML, ARIA roles, and the finer points of CSS layout (grid, flexbox, container queries)
  • Solid grasp of TypeScript with experience writing utility types and working in strict mode
  • Experience working with design systems, Storybook, or building reusable component libraries
  • Demonstrated ability to handle routing, code splitting, and SSR/ISR in a Next.js environment
  • Experience working with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or similar)

Nice-to-Have

  • Familiarity with Monorepo tooling (Turborepo or Nx)
  • Past experience implementing feature flags and running A/B tests
  • Experience working in a regulated environment (e.g., FinTech, HealthTech)
  • Contribution to open-source frontend tools or libraries
