Job Description

We’re looking for a Web Designer who thrives in creating digital experiences that go beyond pixel-perfect mockups. This role is not about just making things “look good”—it’s about understanding user behavior, accessibility constraints, and front-end limitations while still crafting compelling visual interfaces. You’ll be working closely with UX strategists, developers, and product managers to build marketing sites, dashboards, and custom microsites that serve both business goals and user intent.

This role requires someone who can own the design system, evolve brand guidelines for web use, and translate complex user flows into intuitive page structures—all while keeping performance and responsiveness in mind. If you’re a designer who loves pairing Figma mastery with a sharp eye for motion, spacing, and interactive nuance, this is for you.

Responsibilities:

  • Create high-fidelity mockups and design specs for responsive web interfaces using Figma or similar tools
  • Design and maintain modular components for a living web design system
  • Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure design feasibility and intent are preserved in production
  • Understand accessibility guidelines (WCAG 2.1) and apply them across design work
  • Produce interactive prototypes and animations to convey user interaction concepts
  • Participate in design reviews and critique sessions, offering and receiving feedback constructively
  • Adapt brand assets for different web contexts, including landing pages, product pages, and micro-interactions
  • Interpret performance and behavioral analytics to iterate and improve design
  • Stay current with evolving web standards, design patterns, and emerging tools

Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of experience in web or UI design, ideally in product or SaaS environments
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating responsive web design, component-based systems, and interaction patterns
  • Proficiency in Figma (auto layout, variants, prototyping), with working knowledge of design tokens
  • Experience designing for accessibility and performance—understanding how contrast, hierarchy, and layout affect usability
  • Familiarity with HTML/CSS/JS frameworks to understand limitations and opportunities (you don’t need to code, but you should know what breaks)
  • Demonstrated ability to design within established brand guidelines while knowing when (and how) to evolve them
  • Comfortable collaborating directly with developers, sometimes using DevTools to troubleshoot or iterate
  • Bonus: experience with motion design (Lottie, After Effects), Webflow, or headless CMS platforms like Sanity or Contentful

Nice to Have (but not required):

  • Knowledge of CRO principles or A/B testing platforms like Optimizely or VWO
  • Experience contributing to or managing a design system in Figma or similar
  • Understanding of SEO design considerations
  • Previous work on internationalized or localized web designs
