Job Description
We’re seeking a Web Designer who blends front-end aesthetics with UX intuition, capable of translating strategic goals into pixel-perfect design for marketing websites, landing pages, and digital experiences. This isn’t just about making things “look nice”—we want someone who understands why a layout works, who collaborates well with developers and marketers, and who can advocate for clean design that supports performance, SEO, accessibility, and engagement.
You’ll work closely with brand, growth, and engineering teams to design experiences that balance storytelling with clarity. From concept to handoff, you’ll be expected to think in systems, contribute to our evolving design language, and obsess over small details that elevate user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Design responsive, conversion-optimized web pages and digital assets that support campaigns, product launches, and marketing initiatives.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with growth marketing, product marketing, content, and engineering to bring concepts to life.
- Translate wireframes and briefs into elegant, user-friendly designs rooted in web best practices.
- Ensure consistency with brand identity while evolving the design system with reusable components and layouts.
- Participate in QA of live web pages, identifying design or layout inconsistencies and suggesting improvements.
- Apply a strong understanding of user flow, hierarchy, and accessibility (WCAG 2.1) to every project.
- Optimize designs with performance, mobile-first thinking, and SEO structure in mind.
Qualifications
Must-Have:
- 3–5 years of professional experience designing for the web, ideally in a SaaS, tech, or agency environment.
- Strong portfolio showcasing responsive web design, preferably including high-conversion landing pages and marketing websites.
- Proficiency in Figma (components, auto layout, prototyping), and familiarity with design systems.
- Solid grasp of UX principles, visual hierarchy, accessibility standards, and modern web design trends.
- Understanding of how designs translate to front-end code (you don’t need to code, but you do need to speak the language).
- Experience collaborating in cross-functional environments with developers, copywriters, and marketers.
- Attention to detail: spacing, type rhythm, alignment, and interactions.
