Web Designer 

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Design and build visually appealing, user-friendly websites (mainly WordPress; exposure to Shopify/Wix/Webflow is a plus)
• Create UI/UX designs using Figma (preferred) or similar tools, ensuring clean and consistent layouts
• Support fast design iterations for SME projects while maintaining good design standards
• Work with internal team and clients to refine layouts, content structure, and functionality
• Convert design mockups into responsive websites (with guidance)
• Assist in troubleshooting and fixing website issues
• Support ongoing maintenance and updates for existing websites
• Help document basic workflows, components, and project notes
• Occasionally assist with simple graphics or marketing materials

Requirements (Must-Have):

• Basic to strong UI/UX design sense (portfolio required — school/internship work accepted)
• Familiar with Figma (or similar tools like Adobe XD)
• Experience with WordPress (internship / school projects acceptable)
• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive design
• Able to follow design systems and translate mockups into working pages
• Willing to learn, take feedback, and improve quickly
• Able to manage simple tasks independently and meet deadlines
• Able to converse in fluent English and Chinese with the team and clients
• Hungry, able to go the extra-mile
