Web Design Specialist

Job Description

The successful applicant must have strong technical SEO experience and be confident assisting with website design, WordPress updates, Elementor page layouts, blog updates, content improvements and general website maintenance where required.Key Responsibilities
SEO Strategy & Execution

• Develop and support SEO strategies across multiple Barrier Reef Group brands.
• Conduct keyword research, search intent analysis and competitor research.
• Perform technical SEO audits and provide clear recommendations for improvement.
• Implement on-page SEO improvements across website content, blogs, metadata, headings, internal links and page layouts.
• Improve website structure, internal linking, crawlability, indexation and overall site health.
• Identify opportunities to increase rankings, organic traffic, enquiries and lead generation.
• Monitor algorithm updates, search trends and industry developments.
• Support broader SEO strategies, website performance, Google Business Profiles and digital visibility.

Technical SEO & Website Performance

• Monitor website functionality, forms, links, redirects, page speed and user experience.
• Assist with improving website performance, mobile usability and technical site health.
• Use Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4 and SEO tools to monitor performance and identify issues.
• Work with the wider team to support fixes, updates and improvements across WordPress websites.
• Assist with tracking, reporting, conversion monitoring and website performance reviews.

Web Design, Blog & Website Support

• Assist with website updates, page edits, blog uploads and content improvements using WordPress and Elementor.
• Support website design improvements, page layouts, landing pages, blog layouts and campaign pages where required.
• Ensure website content and blog content is accurate, up to date, user-friendly and aligned with SEO best practice.
• Assist with uploading and formatting website content, images, blogs, landing pages and digital assets.
• Identify opportunities to improve website presentation, blog performance, user experience and lead generation pathways.
