Job Description

Job Summary:

We’re seeking a data-driven Web Analyst with sharp investigative instincts and a solid understanding of web architecture, digital marketing, and user behavior. The ideal candidate will go beyond dashboards—leveraging raw data, advanced segmentation, and statistical techniques to uncover actionable insights that directly influence product strategy, UX, and marketing effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and maintain event tagging strategies using GTM and/or server-side tagging; ensure alignment with business KPIs.
  • Develop and automate dashboards and reports in Looker Studio, Tableau, or Power BI that distill raw data into executive-level insights.
  • Analyze user journeys and site funnels across multiple digital properties to pinpoint drop-off points, usability issues, or growth opportunities.
  • Partner with UX designers, CRO specialists, and product managers to propose data-backed hypotheses and run A/B or multivariate tests.
  • Monitor site performance and behavioral trends across devices, browsers, and regions; flag anomalies using GA4, BigQuery, or Adobe Analytics.
  • Lead deep-dive analyses into conversion paths, traffic sources, customer cohorts, and attribution models.
  • Assist in building predictive models and user segmentation frameworks using SQL, R, or Python.
  • Translate complex analytical findings into strategic recommendations with measurable business impact.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field. Master’s preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in web analytics, with proven results influencing product or marketing decisions.
  • Proficient in GA4, GTM (client- and server-side), and tag auditing tools like ObservePoint or TagDebugger.
  • Strong SQL skills for custom data extraction and transformation across complex datasets.
  • Experience working directly with marketing platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Meta Ads) and integrating them with analytics platforms.
  • Skilled in advanced Excel functions and at least one BI/visualization platform (Tableau, Power BI, Looker Studio).
  • Familiarity with statistical modeling techniques and experimentation frameworks (e.g., Bayesian A/B testing, regression analysis).
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to tailor data storytelling to technical and non-technical audiences.
