Role Overview

We are seeking a data-driven Web Analyst with a strong command of digital measurement frameworks, web traffic behavior, and tag management systems. The ideal candidate will be directly responsible for defining, tracking, and optimizing KPIs tied to performance marketing, conversion funnels, and site usability across multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain measurement plans based on business goals, using tools such as Google Tag Manager, GA4, and Looker Studio.
  • Translate high-level business objectives into clearly defined web KPIs and conversion metrics.
  • Audit and troubleshoot tracking implementation, including first-party and third-party tags, custom events, and Enhanced Ecommerce.
  • Deliver actionable insights through cohort analysis, funnel performance breakdowns, and behavioral segmentation.
  • Develop UTM strategies and maintain campaign taxonomy across paid media channels to ensure clean attribution data.
  • Build and maintain real-time dashboards that report on user behavior, engagement, and channel-specific acquisition metrics.
  • Collaborate with UX designers and CRO specialists to prioritize A/B testing hypotheses based on analytics data.
  • Proactively identify anomalies in data trends and perform root cause analysis to inform business decisions.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience (3+ years) in a web analytics role with a demonstrable impact on business performance.
  • Expert-level proficiency with GA4, Google Tag Manager (including custom JavaScript variables), and BigQuery.
  • Hands-on experience writing and interpreting SQL queries to support granular user journey analysis.
  • Familiarity with attribution modeling techniques and multi-channel funnel reporting.
  • Strong working knowledge of HTML, CSS selectors, and front-end dataLayer structure.
  • Experience integrating web analytics with platforms like Salesforce, HubSpot, or Segment is a strong plus.
  • Certification in Google Analytics (GAIQ) or Google Tag Manager preferred.
  • Experience with privacy-compliant analytics practices, including cookie consent and anonymized data capture under GDPR/CCPA.
  • Ability to clearly present technical data to non-technical stakeholders with actionable recommendations.
