Responsibilities

This is a full-time, remote Video Editor role. The Video Editor will be responsible for assembling and editing raw footage into polished, engaging videos optimized for social media platforms. Daily tasks include cutting and organizing clips, applying transitions and effects, adding sound and music, and performing basic color correction and grading. The role also involves collaborating with producers, strategists, and designers to align video content with campaign goals and brand guidelines. The Video Editor will manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintain organized file structures, and adapt content for different platforms and formats.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production, with experience turning raw footage into compelling short-form and long-form content.
• Proficiency in Video Color Grading, with the ability to enhance visual consistency and mood across different shots and formats.
• Ability to create and integrate Motion Graphics and Graphics to support storytelling, branding, and on-screen messaging.
• Experience working with major editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar) and basic knowledge of After Effects or comparable software.
• Solid understanding of social media platforms (e.g., TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook) and best practices for video formats, aspect ratios, and pacing.
• Strong attention to detail, time-management skills, and the ability to meet deadlines in a remote, collaborative environment.
• Effective communication skills and openness to feedback and iteration.
• Previous experience in social media, digital agencies, or influencer-focused content is a plus; relevant portfolio or showreel required.
