Job Description

Job Requirements

We’re looking for a UX/UI Designer who thrives in systems thinking and can balance pixel-perfect finesse with the realities of user behavior. This is not a role for someone who wants to “hand off wireframes” and walk away. You’ll be embedded in product strategy, design validation, and iteration cycles, owning the end-to-end experience in collaboration with engineering and research.

You’ll be expected to:

  • Map user journeys with friction in mind. Not just ideal paths, but failure points, decision fatigue, and edge cases across platforms (mobile-first, but with consideration for desktop users).
  • Create interactive prototypes (in Figma or similar) that stakeholders can click through—not just static mockups with arrows.
  • Develop and maintain a component system in collaboration with devs that serves both consistency and flexibility. You should be comfortable auditing design debt and pushing for scalable solutions.
  • Conduct usability tests (moderated and unmoderated), translate observations into design revisions, and communicate findings beyond design teams.
  • Work with real constraints—performance budgets, legacy systems, and accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA minimum compliance).
  • Push the team to question assumptions using user data, heatmaps, and funnel metrics—not personal preference.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience designing production-ready interfaces for B2B or complex tools (not just portfolios of landing pages).
  • Deep familiarity with Figma, Miro, and user testing platforms like Maze, PlaybookUX, or Useberry.
  • You’ve worked alongside developers in sprints before—bonus if you’ve used tokens or design-to-code tools like Storybook.
  • Comfortable defending design choices in front of product, marketing, and engineering leads, with logic rooted in data and user behavior.
  • A portfolio that shows thinking, not just final screens. We want to see your process—lo-fi to hi-fi, along with missteps.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience designing for accessibility in enterprise software or government platforms.
  • Ability to script lightweight usability tests and/or interpret analytics (Mixpanel, Hotjar, or FullStory).
  • Past collaboration on multilingual UX or localization-aware interfaces.
