UX Implementation Developer

Job Description

This role is hands-on and execution-focused, responsible for building and maintaining user experience components that turn UX direction and design intent into performant, accessible, and scalable front-end experiences.
Sitting at the intersection of design, development, and optimisation, this role supports CRO initiatives, strengthens storefront stability, and contributes to the evolution of our design system and digital capabilities. You will also play a key role in assessing and applying AI-driven tools and approaches, ensuring our development practices are future-ready and aligned with emerging agent-driven experiences.

Key Responsibilities

1. UI Component Development – Build and optimise front-end components to support UX initiatives, ensuring accessibility, performance, and scalability.
2. Prototyping – Use static designs to create interactive prototypes within Figma or similar tools.
3. Design Implementation – Translate wireframes, mock-ups, and design system elements into functional experiences across Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) and Fastr Frontend.
4. Platform Stability – Write high-quality, maintainable code that supports the stability and long-term sustainability of the storefront platform.
5. Experimentation Support – Develop front-end variations for A/B testing and CRO experiments.
6. Collaboration – Partner with the Lead Digital Experience Developer (Sajid), broader developers, designers, and external vendors to ensure seamless delivery.
7. Continuous Improvement – Contribute to the growth of our design system and codebase, championing best practices and modern development standards.
8. AI-Driven Innovation – Assist in evaluating and implementing AI-driven tools and workflows, ensuring development work anticipates and enables future agent-based digital experiences.

Experience / Technical Requirements

• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks.
• Experience delivering front-end solutions on Salesforce Commerce Cloud and/or Fastr Frontend.
• Solid understanding of accessibility standards, performance optimisation, and responsive design.
• Experience working with design systems and implementing specifications from tools such as Figma.
• Familiarity with AI-driven development tools and emerging frameworks that support automation and agent-led workflows.
• Proven ability to collaborate in an agile, fast-paced, and cross-functional environment.
