Job Description

Key Responsibilities :

– Lead end-to-end UX design for AI-powered products: discovery, user research, journey mapping, wireframing, visual design, and design validation.

– Conduct qualitative and quantitative user research – interviews, contextual enquiry, usability testing, surveys, and diary studies – to generate actionable design insights.

– Translate research findings and business requirements into clear user flows, information architecture diagrams, and interaction models.

– Create high-fidelity visual designs and interactive prototypes in Figma that communicate

interaction intent and aesthetic direction with precision.

– Design AI-specific UX patterns including conversational interfaces, progressive disclosure of AI reasoning, confidence indicators, error states for model uncertainty, and onboarding flows for AI features.

– Collaborate with AI and engineering teams to ensure that designs are technically feasible and implemented with fidelity to the original intent.

– Build and maintain a comprehensive design system – components, typography, colour, iconography, spacing tokens – that scales across products.

– Facilitate design workshops, ideation sprints, and co-creation sessions with client stakeholders.

– Champion accessibility and inclusive design principles – designing for diverse users across languages, abilities, and devices.

– Contribute to Ardberg AI’s design culture through critique sessions, design reviews, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Required Qualifications :

– Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, Visual Communication, Interaction Design, or a related discipline from a premier design institute – NIFD, NID, MIT Institute of Design, Pearl Academy, Symbiosis Institute of Design, NIFT, Srishti Manipal, or equivalent.

– 2 – 5 years of professional UX/UI design experience, with a portfolio that demonstrates strong visual craft, research rigour, and thoughtful interaction design.

– Expert proficiency in Figma – auto-layout, components, variables, prototyping, and design system management.

– Demonstrated experience conducting user research and synthesising insights into design decisions – not just aesthetics, but evidence-led design.

– Strong visual design skills: typography, colour theory, layout, iconography, and brand consistency across digital touchpoints.

– Clear, confident communication – ability to present design work, articulate rationale, and respond constructively to feedback from diverse stakeholders.

– Familiarity with responsive design principles and an understanding of how designs translate to web and mobile environments.

– A genuine curiosity about AI and its potential to transform how people work, learn, and create.
