Job Description
About the Role
We’re looking for a UX Designer who thrives in translating fragmented requirements into clear, intuitive workflows. You’ll be working on enterprise-level tools with logic-heavy interfaces, often balancing user needs with dense datasets and operational constraints. If you’re someone who enjoys wrestling with complexity and advocating for clarity without oversimplifying—read on.
Responsibilities
- Map and optimize user journeys within a multi-layered B2B platform used by non-technical stakeholders.
- Lead collaborative working sessions with Product Managers and Engineers to untangle system logic and co-define flows.
- Translate multi-step, conditional logic into wireframes and prototypes that anticipate edge cases—not just happy paths.
- Design with constraints: legacy systems, data limitations, and compliance considerations are part of the challenge.
- Conduct usability tests that focus on comprehension and task success within dense interfaces.
- Deliver annotated wireframes with interaction notes clear enough to build from—no mystery handoffs.
- Use Figma and FigJam to document interaction models, flow charts, and component behavior patterns.
- Work closely with the design systems team to identify where standardized components fall short and propose practical solutions.
Requirements
- 3–6 years of experience designing UX for web-based SaaS platforms with moderate to high complexity.
- Demonstrated ability to design workflows with branching logic, progressive disclosure, and nested states.
- Strong grasp of information architecture, especially for interfaces that support advanced search, filtering, and bulk actions.
- Comfortable interviewing users with domain-specific knowledge (e.g., logistics managers, analysts, procurement leads).
- Fluent in prototyping mid- to high-fidelity flows that show logic progression, not just visual polish.
- Familiarity with constraints in designing for data-heavy dashboards (e.g., table structure, state management, real-time updates).
- Bonus: Experience designing for roles with regulatory or audit constraints (e.g., finance, healthcare, compliance platforms).
Nice to Have
- Working knowledge of service design principles and how front-end UX integrates with back-office operations.
- Ability to work within component libraries but advocate for new patterns when needed, with rationale.
- Comfort analyzing user logs or journey analytics to inform design iterations.
