Job Description

Responsibilities:

  1. UI Design: Assist in creating visually appealing and functional user interfaces, including designing layouts, components, buttons, and icons for websites and mobile apps.
  2. Wireframing & Prototyping: Support in developing low-fidelity wireframes, high-fidelity prototypes, and mockups using tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar platforms.
  3. User Research & Analysis: Conduct basic user research, such as interviews and surveys, and assist in gathering user feedback to understand user needs and pain points.
  4. Usability Testing: Participate in usability testing sessions, analyze results, and help make data-driven design decisions to improve the user experience.
  5. Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including senior designers, developers, product managers, and marketing teams, to ensure design solutions align with business goals.
  6. Design Systems & Style Guides: Assist in maintaining and contributing to design systems and style guides to ensure consistency across digital products.
  7. Iterative Design Process: Revise and iterate on designs based on feedback from team members, stakeholders, and users.
  8. Stay Updated: Keep up-to-date with the latest design trends, UI/UX practices, and tools to continually improve design skills and knowledge.
  9. Experience in designing for both web and mobile platforms.
  10. Familiarity with agile and collaborative design processes.

Qualifications:

  1. Education: A degree or diploma in UI/UX Design, Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or related field.
  2. Experience: 0-2 years of experience in UI/UX design, with a portfolio showcasing work across digital products (websites, apps, etc.).

Skills:

  1. Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision, or similar.
  2. Familiarity with design principles such as typography, color theory, and layout.
  3. Understanding of user-centered design methodologies and basic user research techniques.
  4. Strong attention to detail, creativity, and problem-solving abilities.
  5. Good communication and teamwork skills.

Nice-to-Have:

  1. Basic knowledge of motion design and animation.
  2. Ability to incorporate accessibility (WCAG) considerations into designs.
