UI/UX Intern

Job Description

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing user interfaces for web and mobile applications.
• Create wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and user flows.
• Conduct user research and analyze user feedback to improve product usability.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
• Maintain and contribute to design systems and UI component libraries.
• Create visually appealing graphics, icons, and illustrations when required.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and product discussions.
• Perform usability testing and suggest design improvements.
• Stay updated with the latest UI/UX trends, tools, and best practices.

Requirements

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Design, Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of UI/UX principles, design thinking, and user-centered design.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar.
• Knowledge of wireframing and prototyping techniques.
• Understanding of responsive design and mobile-first design principles.
• Strong creativity, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Portfolio showcasing design projects (academic, personal, or freelance work) is preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and frontend development concepts.
• Experience with design systems and component-based design.
• Familiarity with usability testing and analytics tools.
