UI Developer – React.js

Job Description

Key Responsibilities :

– Develop new user-facing features and reusable UI components using React.js, Redux, and modern JavaScript (ECMA6 and above).

– Translate business requirements, wireframes, and UI/UX designs into high-quality, responsive, crossbrowser-compatible code.

– Collaborate with product management, backend engineers, and stakeholders to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction, visuals, and user experience.

– Optimize components for maximum performance across a wide range of web-capable devices and browsers.

– Build and maintain reusable code, component libraries, and front-end standards for future use.

– Integrate front-end applications with RESTful APIs and secure authorization mechanisms.

– Participate in code reviews, promote design guidelines and best practices, and uphold coding standards.

– Work as an individual contributor and independent thinker, able to deliver with minimal supervision while collaborating closely with the wider team.

Technical Skills & Experience :

– Core stack: React.js, Redux/Flux, JavaScript (ECMA6 and above), TypeScript (preferred), HTML5, CSS3.

– Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.

– Experience with modern front-end build pipelines and tools (Webpack, Babel, npm/yarn).

– Hands-on experience with unit testing of UI components using JEST / Enzyme / React Testing Library.

– Familiarity with RESTful APIs and modern authorization mechanisms such as JSON Web Tokens (JWT).

– Experience designing and developing responsive websites/applications.

– Hands-on experience writing secure front-end code adhering to OWASP guidelines.

– Good understanding of agile software development practices, coding standards, code reviews, and source control management (Git).

– Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills, including handling web performance issues.

– Up to date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies.
