UI Developer
Job Description
Translates graphic visual and interactive designs into the presentation layer for highly interactive web and mobile applications using responsive design and development techniques. Develops prototypes and performs hands-on coding to develop and integrate the application user interface, leveraging technologies such as CSS3, HTML5, PHP, JavaScript and associated frameworks, AJAX, JSON, jQuery, Dojo, and various APIs.
Role and responsibility –
- Work with Tech Lead/Business stakeholders for requirement gathering/reviews and signoff’s
- Liaise with the offshore team and SME’s during the project delivery phase
- Meeting with the development team to discuss user interface ideas and applications
- Support and collaborate with other internal/external consultants in consulting, workshops and delivery engagements
- Mentor junior IBM consultants in the practice and delivery engagements

Strong development background Technical Skills
- Leading a small team
- Full lifecycle application design and development using Javascript – React.js – Node.js – Python
- Microservices development knowledge, engineer with a breadth of experience in a microservice architecture, and test-driven development
- Proactively engage in the remediation of software issues related to code quality, security, and/or pattern/frameworks
- Mentoring, guiding, and developing a team of developers with a focus on quality and best practice coding standards
- Knowledge in Javascript application development frameworks and demonstrate proficiency – React.js – Node.js – Python
