Job Description

Job Summary:
We are looking for a UI Designer with a strong command of interface design principles in environments where clarity and hierarchy matter as much as aesthetics. You’ll translate complex datasets, user flows, and conditional states into clean, intuitive, and scalable interfaces. You won’t be designing for inspiration boards—you’ll be designing for analysts, compliance teams, and ops leads who rely on our product to make critical decisions daily.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design interfaces for dashboards, rule engines, and multi-step configuration tools that users actually want to use
  • Collaborate with UX researchers and product managers to reduce cognitive load in highly interactive views
  • Build and maintain a component-based design system with attention to edge cases and exceptions
  • Prototype interaction-heavy flows (e.g., table filters with nested logic, dynamic form builders) in Figma
  • Audit UI for inconsistencies across live product states and propose refinements that improve alignment without introducing disruption
  • Contribute to design QA by flagging issues in implementation that degrade usability or visual accuracy
  • Communicate design trade-offs when balancing product constraints, accessibility, and visual polish

Requirements:

  • 3–6 years of experience in UI design, with at least 2 years working on products involving complex workflows or data visualization
  • A portfolio showing polished, production-ready UI for interfaces beyond marketing sites or landing pages
  • Proficiency in Figma (component logic, auto layout, prototyping, and variants expected)
  • Experience designing and documenting design systems that scale across multiple teams
  • Comfort working in sprints alongside engineers—you’re used to spec’ing redlines and pairing for refinement
  • Ability to spot micro-interaction issues that affect usability (e.g., unexpected scroll behavior, hover state misfires)
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1) and how they influence spacing, contrast, and navigation
