Job Description

We’re seeking a UI Designer who can turn product complexity into user clarity. Our platform spans multiple user types, data-rich interfaces, and adaptive workflows. You won’t be tweaking color palettes all day — you’ll be solving real interface challenges, collaborating with UX researchers, product managers, and engineers to create purposeful, system-consistent design. This role is ideal for someone who can bring structure to visual chaos, isn’t afraid of a complex design system, and values function over fluff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate user flows and wireframes into clean, visually balanced UI designs using Figma.
  • Develop and evolve components within our design system, ensuring consistency across touchpoints.
  • Design for responsive behavior across breakpoints, not just screen sizes.
  • Participate in design critiques with a willingness to both give and receive constructive feedback.
  • Partner with UX researchers to turn user insights into visual strategies.
  • Work with developers to ensure visual fidelity from mockup to implementation (we don’t hand off and forget).
  • Proactively identify visual debt and propose scalable solutions.
  • Document interaction behavior, visual rules, and edge cases clearly for cross-functional teams.

Qualifications:

Must-Haves:

  • 3–5 years of experience designing interfaces for web and mobile products (not just websites or marketing pages).
  • A portfolio that shows clean, system-aware UI work with before/after context or design rationale.
  • Deep experience with Figma, including component libraries and auto layout (bonus for using variables or tokens).
  • Strong understanding of visual hierarchy, typography, spacing, and contrast (beyond aesthetic — into usability).
  • Comfortable designing in agile, iterative environments with shifting priorities.
  • Experience contributing to or maintaining a design system, not just using one.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Exposure to accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1) and a working knowledge of how visual design impacts usability for diverse users.
  • Experience working in products with heavy data presentation (tables, filters, dashboards).
  • Familiarity with HTML/CSS for better collaboration with front-end developers (no coding required).
  • Prior experience in B2B SaaS or enterprise-level applications.
