About the Role
We’re looking for a Technical Sales Specialist in Europe to support new customer acquisition, strengthen relationships with existing accounts, and serve as a trusted product expert throughout the sales cycle. This is a hybrid role that blends pre sales, customer success, partner support, and product feedback — ideal for someone who thrives on challenge and constantly evolving their skills and expertise.
You’ll deliver solution demos, run technical sessions, help prospects understand how SoftComply fits into their compliance workflows, and ensure our largest customers continue to see value. You’ll also collaborate closely with development and product teams to triage sales support issues and surface insights that help shape our roadmap.
Key Responsibilities
● Develop and deliver compelling product demonstrations, proof-of-concept engagements, and technical presentations tailored to each prospect
● Prepare and present detailed proposals, RFP responses, and statements of work
● Manage the full sales cycle from initial outreach through contract negotiation and close
● Conduct in-depth discovery calls and needs assessments to understand customer technical environments and compliance needs and support customer onboarding
● Own and manage customer support requests, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication with customers and internal teams
● Collaborate with the engineering and product teams to design solutions that meet customer requirements
● Support marketing to improve SoftComply’s digital presence, as well as our expanding library of content
● Maintain accurate pipeline data and activity records in CRM (Pipedrive)
● Achieve (and exceed) sales targets
● Stay current on Atlassian industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies relevant to new and existing customers
● Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences
● Provide post-sale support coordination with customers to ensure seamless handoff with their internal teams
Required Qualifications
● 2-4 years of experience in technical sales, solutions engineering, or a related customer-facing technical role
● Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas in a B2B technology environment
● Strong understanding of SaaS, cloud infrastructure, and the Atlassian suite of tools
● Exceptional communication skills — both written and verbal — with the ability to present executives and technical engineers alike
● Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
● Ability to travel periodically throughout the year
Preferred Qualifications
● Experience in one or more regulated industries, even at a high level
● Familiarity with solution selling via direct and channel models
● Experience with Pipedrive (our CRM)
● Experience with developing and maintaining/improving BI and other reporting tools to be used across the company
