Technical Project Manager – VIC

Your new role

Engagement of a Technical Project Manager to lead Phase 2 of the Imperva rollout, ensuring structured delivery, stakeholder alignment, and successful transition to production.

Objectives

• Drive end-to-end project delivery for Imperva implementation
• Establish detailed project planning and execution framework
• Coordinate technical teams (Imperva specialist, engineering)
• Ensure timely, high-quality rollout and stabilisation

Scope of Work:

Planning & Onboarding

• Lead onboarding (1–2 weeks) and project initiation
• Develop and maintain detailed project plan
• Define milestones, timelines, and dependencies

Discovery & Coordination

• Facilitate discovery sessions and requirements alignment
• Coordinate review of configuration, business logic, and proxy chain
• Manage risks, issues, and stakeholder communications

Hands-on Tech Lead for the project to:

Investigate and understand existing business technologies

• VCL (Varnish Configuration Language)
• Lua — used in the OpenResty/nginx layer (openresty/*.lua).
• NGINX configuration
• JSON — configuration files for multiple services: Kraken (kraken.json), Optidash, ShieldSquare, SiteSpect, ThreatX, and Varnish proxy features
• HTML

Key Skills

• Strong technical project management experience
• Familiarity with Imperva or similar security platforms
• Understanding of proxy chains, traffic routing, and business logic
• Ability to coordinate engineering teams and manage technical delivery
