Tech Lead Data Engineer

Job Description

Responsibilitie

• Work on key ETF data and analytics contents relevant for institutional clients (buy-and-sell side) for analysing, utilizing, and interpreting data related to global ETFs markets, including ETF markets in EMEA, AMER and APA
• Work and contribute to delivery of ETF data contents, including reference data, dynamic data, holdings, performance, liquidity, and many other
• Work and contribute to delivery of large datasets from multiple sources, ensuring they are clean and structured and work with data engineers on ensuring automation and continuity, by leveraging latest technologies in Big Data and AI/M
• Work closely with Business, Tech and Product teams on unified, efficient, and collaborative approach to ensure great depth of data and breadth of analytics within ETFbook solution
• Work on client requests related to data and analytics requests in a timely manne
• Maintain and improve data quality, accuracy, and integrity across various ETFbook solutions (Web-Application and APIs

Requiremen

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in the ETF/Indexing industry within data, analytics, portfolio management, risk or research fie
• ld.Preferred Master degree in data analysis, data science or related fie
• ld.Strong proficiency in Python/R/SQL and experience in Data Visualisation techniques. Experience in Databricks preferr
• ed.Hands-on exposure to data quality tasks, including checks on existing datasets and support in the collection and onboarding of new data sources, preferably within the financial sector or a comparable environme
• Initial hands-on experience in supporting the team with client-related questions and data reques
• Strong problem-solving and communication skil
