Systems Integration Engineer

Your new role

Reporting to the Project Engineering Manager, you will lead the combat systems integration discipline, providing technical leadership and delivery oversight across complex platforms. This role combines hands‑on systems integration with team leadership, stakeholder engagement and design assurance across multiple engineering interfaces.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the combat systems integration function across complex platforms
• Providing technical authority across integrated systems including:
  • Combat management systems and sensors
  • Weapons and fire control systems
  • Communications and data networks
  • Navigation systems and sensors
  • Training and mission support systems
• Applying robust systems engineering processes to deliver integrated design solutions
• Leading design coordination activities, technical investigations and root cause analysis
• Overseeing the development and review of engineering documentation, including impact assessments, design artefacts, installation packages and technical reports
• Planning and coordinating engineering activities from concept through to delivery
• Leading and mentoring engineers within the combat systems discipline
• Chairing design coordination and design review meetings with internal teams and external stakeholders
• Liaising with customers, suppliers, regulators and classification bodies as required
• Ensuring compliance with applicable engineering standards and regulatory requirements
• Working collaboratively across multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver integrated outcomes
