Sr. Technical Business Analyst

Role Overview

The Senior Technical Business Analyst is responsible for translating business requirements and solution designs into delivery‑ready technical requirements within the DI Pre‑Delivery model.

Working closely with Business Analysts, Technical Leads, Solution Architects, and engineering teams, you will:

• Lead the elaboration of integrated functional and non‑functional technical requirements
• Ensure engineers have clear understanding of scope, constraints, dependencies, and quality expectations
• Facilitate effective decision‑making between business and technology
• Balance business outcomes with technical feasibility, sustainability, and enterprise standards
• Support efficient and predictable delivery by reducing downstream friction

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse, document, and validate detailed technical requirements for Duck Creek (Policy or Billing) streams
• Translate business needs and high‑level designs into technical specifications for engineering teams
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure alignment between business intent and technical implementation
• Identify and communicate dependencies, risks, and assumptions
• Facilitate workshops and working sessions with stakeholders
• Support the end‑to‑end delivery lifecycle from pre‑delivery to implementation
• Ensure documentation aligns with enterprise architecture, data standards, and engineering best practices

Required Skills & Experience

Mandatory: Duck Creek experience
Strong technical BA capability within complex enterprise environments
Proven ability to translate business and solution design documents into technical requirements
Experience working with engineers, architects, and technical delivery teams
Strong analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills
Ability to work in fast‑paced programs with tight timelines
