SQL Application Support Analyst

About the Role

We are seeking an Engineering Applications Support Analyst to provide technical support across a wide range of engineering and CAD applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide support for software installations, upgrades, and configurations
• Support engineering and CAD applications used across multiple disciplines
• Perform application troubleshooting and issue resolution (L2/L3 support)
• Assist with license management and application access issues
• Work with SQL Server at a basic level for application support and troubleshooting
• Write and execute basic scripts using T‑SQL where required
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure system availability and performance

Technical Skills & Experience

• General experience supporting engineering and CAD applications
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of SQL Server
• Ability to write and understand T‑SQL scripts
• Experience supporting applications such as:
  • Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, BIM360, Navisworks, Plant3D
  • Bentley MicroStation, ProjectWise, OpenRoads, Connection Client
  • Ansys (including Dyna and License Management)
  • ArcGIS and extensions
  • IBM DOORS
  • Windchill, Teamwork Cloud, Cameo, GENESYS
  • 12d Model, Drains, XP Rafts and Storm, AutoTurn, Strand7, Structural Toolkit, iConstruct, MetroMap

Desired Skills

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to support multiple applications in a complex engineering environment
• Good stakeholder communication skills
• Experience working in infrastructure, engineering, or construction environments is highly regarded
