Solutions Architect – Databricks

Job Description

We’re looking for a Senior Solution Architect with deep Databricks and AWS experience to lead the design of scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions. This is a senior, hands-on architecture role with strong ownership over technical decisions and client-facing impact.

What You’ll Do

• Design end-to-end data architectures on AWS, with Databricks at the core
• Own architectural decisions across data pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and platform integrations
• Translate complex business and product requirements into robust, scalable technical solutions
• Define standards, patterns, and best practices for building with PySpark, Python, SQL, and Databricks
• Act as a technical leader and advisor for engineering teams
• Collaborate closely with product, data, and engineering stakeholders to ensure architectural alignment and long-term scalability
• Review designs and implementations to ensure performance, security, reliability, and cost efficiency

What We’re Looking For

• 8+ years of experience in data engineering, solution architecture, or related roles
• Proven experience designing enterprise-grade data platforms and architectures
• Deep, hands-on expertise with: Databricks (production and architectural experience required), AWS, PySpark, Python and SQL
• Strong understanding of: Distributed data systems, Cloud-native architecture principles and Data modeling and integration patterns
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work directly with technical and non-technical stakeholders
