Job Description

We’re seeking a meticulous Software Tester who thrives on uncovering hidden bugs and improving software quality at every stage. You won’t just run tests—you’ll design innovative testing strategies tailored to complex features and rapidly evolving products. Your analytical mindset and deep understanding of both manual and automated testing will help ensure our software performs flawlessly under real-world conditions. This role demands close collaboration with developers, product managers, and UX teams to anticipate potential failure points before they impact users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and cases based on detailed requirements and design documents.
  • Perform exploratory testing to uncover edge cases and subtle defects that automated tests may miss.
  • Design, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using industry-standard tools tailored to our tech stack.
  • Collaborate with developers during the development cycle to provide early feedback and ensure testability of features.
  • Analyze bug reports, reproduce issues, and provide detailed documentation to facilitate quick resolution.
  • Advocate for quality by continuously identifying process improvements and integrating new testing methodologies.
  • Conduct performance and stress testing in collaboration with infrastructure teams to validate software resilience.
  • Stay current on emerging testing tools, techniques, and trends, and champion their adoption when beneficial.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years experience in software testing with demonstrable impact on product quality in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong expertise in both manual and automated testing; experience with tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar frameworks is required.
  • Proficient in scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Java) to build and maintain test automation suites.
  • Solid understanding of software development lifecycles (Agile/Scrum) and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to think critically about software behavior and user scenarios.
  • Experience testing APIs, mobile applications, and web platforms across multiple browsers and devices.
  • Ability to interpret complex requirements and translate them into precise, actionable test cases.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively report issues, advocate for quality, and collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Familiarity with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner is a strong plus.
