Software Engineer – Javascript/React.js

Job Description

Role Overview :

We are looking for a skilled React.js Frontend Developer with strong expertise in JavaScript and modern front-end technologies to design, develop, and maintain responsive, high-quality web applications.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for translating business requirements into technical solutions while ensuring performance, scalability, and a seamless user experience.

Key Responsibilities :

– Develop and maintain user-facing features using React.js

– Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use

– Translate business and functional requirements into effective technical implementations

– Optimize components for maximum performance across browsers and devices

– Integrate front-end applications with RESTful APIs

– Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms

– Collaborate with UX/UI designers, backend developers, and product stakeholders

– Ensure code quality through best practices, reviews, and version control

Technical Skills :

Must Have :

– Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript Object Model

– Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles

– Experience with popular React.js workflows such as Flux or Redux

– Familiarity with RESTful APIs

– Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms such as JWT (JSON Web Token) and SSO

– Experience with modern front-end build pipelines and tools

– Hands-on experience with Babel, Webpack, NPM, or similar tools

– Familiarity with code versioning tools such as GitHub

Nice to Have :

– Experience with performance optimization and debugging tools

– Exposure to responsive design and cross-browser compatibility

– Knowledge of modern UI/UX best practices

Qualifications :

– Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (preferred)

– Strong understanding of front-end architecture and best practices

Soft Skills & Competencies :

– Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements

– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

– Good communication and collaboration abilities

– Attention to detail with a focus on code quality

– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
