Software Engineer (Java)

Job Description

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions that support financial transactions and critical business systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, risk, operations, and compliance to deliver new features safely and reliably.
• Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code following engineering and security best practices.
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure system correctness, reliability, and regression safety.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback with a strong focus on quality, security, and maintainability.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize systems with attention to performance, resilience, and data integrity in production environments.
• Contribute to technical discussions and architectural decisions, balancing speed of delivery with risk and compliance considerations.
• Continuously learn and apply new technologies, tools, and best practices to improve system stability, security, and development efficiency.

What We’re Looking For

• Hands-on experience with Java.
• Experience with Spring and web technologies such as Thymeleaf, and RESTful web services, or equivalent frameworks.
• Experience working with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL or SQL Server, with an understanding of data consistency and transactional integrity.
• Familiarity with modern development workflows and tools including Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a strong sense of ownership.
