Software Engineer

Job Description

Your Role:

• Analysis of customer requirements, development and optimisation of large and complex software systems with high personal responsibility
• Writing and maintaining well-structured, efficient program code in accordance with technical specifications and industry standards
• Writing, updating and maintaining technical documentation and operational procedures
• Developing and maintaining software-based automation solutions and cloud-native applications
• Development and conceptual integration of AI components such as ML models or LLMs
• Consulting on and implementation of automated test environments
• Applying agile software development methodologies in the delivery of software solutions
• Conducting code reviews and providing technical mentorship to less experienced developers
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Optionally, there are numerous opportunities to get involved within TNG

Essential skills:

• A minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience
• Excellent higher degree in a technical subject (computer science, physics, mathematics, etc.)
• Strong proficiency in at least two modern programming languages (e.g., C#, Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or C++)
• Extensive experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practice
• Experience with modern software architecture patterns
• Experience within a consulting role
• Interest in artificial intelligence and machine learning
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
