Software Engineer

Job Description

Responsibilities：

• Design, develop, and maintain system-level software and backend services.
• Develop clean, efficient, and well-documented code using the programming languages core to the company’s service development.
• Design and implement system features and enhancements to improve performance and scalability.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define technical requirements.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve system issues efficiently.
• Optimize algorithms, memory usage, and resource allocation to improve system performance.
• Integrate APIs and third-party services to extend platform functionality.
• Build tools and utilities to improve system operations and developer productivity.
• Ensure compliance with data security protocols and industry standards.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
• Research and adopt emerging technologies to enhance system architecture.
• Solve complex technical challenges in performance, architecture, and integration.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in system programming and software development.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, Python, Java or Go.
• Strong understanding of operating systems, memory management and multithreading.
• Experience in API development and system integration.
• Familiarity with database systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL or MongoDB.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure or Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Fluency in English and Mandarin-speaking candidates who will be serving Mandarin-speaking customers.
