Job Description

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of developers and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Own end-to-end design, development, deployment, and production support of Retail Commerce applications.
• Design and develop scalable Microservices-based solutions using Java and Spring Boot.
• Enhance and support Oracle ATG Commerce applications and integrations.
• Collaborate with Product, QA, DevOps, Architecture, and Business teams for successful project delivery.
• Conduct code reviews, technical design discussions, and provide architectural guidance.
• Work directly with client stakeholders to gather requirements and propose technical solutions.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Estimation, Backlog Grooming, and Retrospectives.
• Drive continuous improvement through automation, process optimization, and DevOps best practices.

Mandatory Skills

• 6+ years of software development experience.
• 3+ years of experience leading development teams.
• Strong programming skills in Java and Spring Boot Microservices.
• Extensive experience with Oracle ATG Commerce development and customization.
• Strong experience in Retail Commerce/eCommerce domain.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and cloud-native architectures.
• Strong expertise in PostgreSQL database design, performance tuning, and optimization.
• Experience with REST APIs, Microservices, and Distributed Systems.
• Hands-on experience with JUnit, Mockito, and Cucumber.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins/Bamboo, and ArgoCD.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Infrastructure Automation.
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and code review skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
