One of Australia’s most progressive Federal Government departments is looking to engage a Senior Software Developer to design, build, and operate modern web applications supporting critical business workflows. The successful Senior Software Developer will work closely with cross-functional teams and will be offered a 12-month contract with 2 x 12-month extension options.

The successful Senior Software Developer will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Designing and building scalable end-to-end web applications
• Developing and evolving REST/GraphQL APIs and secure gateway patterns
• Containerising and deploying services using Kubernetes and Helm
• Ensuring data integrity and performance across systems
• Participating in Agile delivery and development processes
• Monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimising production systems

The successful Senior Software Developer will have experience in the following:

• 3+ years full stack development using C#/.NET and React/TypeScript
• REST/GraphQL API development and secure gateway patterns
• Resilience and background-processing frameworks
• Entity Framework, SQL Server, and Elasticsearch
• Containerised service deployment on Kubernetes with Helm
• Agile development tools including JIRA and Confluence
• CI/CD development and version control using GitLab
• Tertiary qualification in a technology field (desirable)
