SITE Engineer

Job Description

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage day-to-day interior site activities.
• Execute works as per approved drawings, specifications and project schedules.
• Coordinate civil, carpentry, false ceiling, flooring, painting, electrical, plumbing and other finishing works.
• Read and interpret architectural and MEP drawings.
• Coordinate and monitor subcontractors, carpenters, fabricators and labour teams.
• Check measurements, quantities and workmanship at site.
• Ensure proper material planning and availability at site.
• Monitor project progress and report daily/weekly status to the Project Manager.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects and other agencies.
• Identify site issues and coordinate for timely resolution.
• Ensure quality, safety and proper execution of works.
• Prepare site measurements, material requirements and work progress reports.
• Ensure completion of works within the agreed project schedule and budget.

Preferred candidate profile

• 2-3 years of experience in interior fit-out / commercial interior projects.
• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of interior finishing and execution.
• Experience in commercial, retail, office, bank, restaurant or showroom interiors will be preferred.
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD and ability to understand construction drawings.
• Ability to take site measurements and check BOQ quantities.
• Good subcontractor and manpower management skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Should be willing to travel to project sites in Kerala or anywhere in south India.
• Should be capable of handling site activities independently.
