SEO Web Engineer

Job Description

Responsibilities :

– Develop clean, semantic, SEO-friendly HTML/CSS/JavaScript.

– Work on CMS platforms (WordPress, Next.js, custom stacks) for site optimization.

– Implement technical SEO practices : indexing, structured data, schema, Core Web Vitals, and mobile responsiveness.

– Collaborate with marketing, content, and dev teams to ensure SEO best practices.

– Monitor site health and SEO metrics via Google Search Console, Analytics, and Lighthouse.

Requirements :

– Experience : 0- 1 year (Freshers welcome).

– Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or equivalent practical experience.

– Strong foundation in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

– Knowledge of SEO basics : meta tags, sitemaps, robots.txt, and canonical tags.

– Familiarity with Git and debugging.

– Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.

Nice-to-Have :

– Experience with React, Next.js, or Vue.

– Exposure to SSR (Server-Side Rendering) and SSG (Static Site Generation).
