Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Web Developer with deep experience in modern frontend frameworks, scalable architecture, and performance optimization for enterprise-grade web applications. The ideal candidate will be able to lead feature development, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate cross-functionally with UI/UX, DevOps, and Product teams to drive complex projects from concept to deployment.

Key Responsibilities:

Architect, develop, and maintain highly responsive web applications using React (v17+), TypeScript, and Next.js.
Optimize page load times, implement server-side rendering (SSR), and manage hydration for large-scale SPAs.
Design RESTful and GraphQL APIs in collaboration with backend engineers; ensure consistent data modeling and caching strategies.
Integrate CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, CircleCI) and implement unit, integration, and end-to-end testing strategies using Jest and Cypress.
Refactor legacy codebases written in jQuery or older frameworks, bringing them in line with modern development standards.
Work closely with DevOps to handle containerized deployments via Docker and Kubernetes.
Ensure accessibility compliance (WCAG 2.1 AA) and implement internationalization/localization support.
Lead sprint planning and technical discussions; provide architecture guidance and conduct code reviews.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
6+ years of professional experience in frontend and full-stack web development.
Proven track record of building performant, production-ready applications in React and TypeScript.
Experience with modern build systems (Webpack, Vite, or Turbopack) and module federation.
Deep understanding of browser rendering pipelines, critical rendering path, and advanced caching mechanisms (e.g., stale-while-revalidate).
Solid command of Git workflows, version control branching strategies, and agile development methodologies.
Experience deploying to cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP) with knowledge of CDN optimization (Cloudflare, Fastly).
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in a microfrontend architecture.
Familiarity with headless CMSs (e.g., Contentful, Sanity).
Prior contribution to open-source projects or strong personal GitHub portfolio.
Experience implementing SSO (OAuth2, SAML) and advanced security practices in web applications.
