Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

AI-Era HMI Visual Exploration

  • Participate in and drive the research and definition of overall HMI visual direction for intelligent driving and AI-powered cockpits
  • Explore next-generation HMI visual styles and expressions enabled by AI technologies
  • Collaborate closely with the China-based design team on forward-looking concepts, experimental design initiatives, and visual language development, gradually translating exploration into reusable design assets

Overseas Localization & Design System Development

  • Define visual design principles, guidelines, and methodologies for HMI localization across overseas markets, starting from Singapore
  • Develop multi-language and multi-cultural adaptation strategies based on regional user behavior, perception, and usage contexts
  • Customize and optimize UI, motion, and 3D visual expressions to improve usability, clarity, and emotional resonance for overseas users

End-to-End HMI Visual Design

  • Contribute across core HMI visual domains, including UI, motion design, and 3D visual elements, from concept to implementation
  • Balance creative exploration with engineering constraints and mass-production feasibility
  • Support iterative design refinement through test vehicles and real-world scenario validation

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Project Execution

  • Work closely with product, engineering, testing, and overseas stakeholders to drive multiple projects forward efficiently
  • Proactively identify risks and dependencies in complex projects, ensuring alignment with design goals and delivery timelines

Design Communication & Knowledge Building

  • Clearly articulate design concepts, rationale, and value through reviews, presentations, and cross-team discussions
  • Systematically document and consolidate design practices into guidelines, frameworks, and methodologies
  • Share insights and best practices across teams and regions to strengthen overall design capability

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Design, Visual Communication, HCI, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in UI, visual, or HMI design, with solid understanding of intelligent cockpit systems or advanced technology products
  • Strong visual judgment and exploratory mindset, with the ability to drive design direction under uncertainty
  • Familiar with HMI design workflows, user-centered design principles, and product-oriented thinking
  • Proficient in mainstream design tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills in cross-functional environments
  • Fluent Chinese communication skills, enabling close collaboration with China-based design teams
