Job Description

The successful Senior Technical Analyst will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Managing and configuring the Discourse platform to meet the evolving needs of the community.
  • Supporting the organisation, usability, and archiving of digital content.
  • Providing specialist advice and systems design aligned to SFIA Level 5.
  • Improving user experience through basic platform enhancements (HTML/CSS familiarity).
  • Working closely with stakeholders to ensure community engagement and platform alignment with project goals.
  • Collaborating with platform vendors and internal users to support system effectiveness.

The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience with:

  • Discourse or similar platforms (e.g., Yammer, Teams Communities, Confluence).
  • System design, architecture, and platform configuration.
  • HTML/CSS and an understanding of digital user experience.
  • Providing high-level technical advice and engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Supporting content governance and community-based knowledge sharing.
