Senior System Engineer

Your new role

• Take ownership of designing, enhancing, and supporting Google Workspace services within the Identity and Collaboration Platforms team.
• Ensure reliable operation of Google Workspace suite and email delivery across multiple domains, including DMARC compliance.
• Oversee changes within the Google Workspace environment, manage vendor updates, maintain service roadmaps, and identify opportunities for new capabilities.
• Provide expert advice, develop recommendations, and guide technical direction through evidence-based input.
• Act as an escalation point for system administrators and deliver third-level support for managed services.
  
  What you’ll need to succeed
• 7–10 years of experience in enterprise IT environments.
• Proven expertise in administering and supporting Google Workspace in complex settings.
• Strong cybersecurity mindset with the ability to implement actionable configurations and controls.
• Experience in email delivery infrastructure and security technologies (SPF, DKIM, DMARC).
• Highly developed planning, organisational, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to conceptualise and deliver innovative solutions for complex business issues.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to influence and negotiate at senior levels.
