Senior Software Engineer – Node.js/TypeScript

Job Description

Basic Qualifications :

– Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

– 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.

– 4+ years of experience with at least one modern programming language (e.g., TypeScript, Go).

– 3+ years of deep experience with Node.js and TypeScript in a production environment.

– Demonstrated experience designing and maintaining large-scale distributed systems or microservices.

– Experience mentoring junior engineers and leading technical projects within a team.

– Proficiency with AI coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor) to accelerate development.

Preferred Qualifications :

– Experience with NestJS, GraphQL, and Postgres.

– Familiarity with event-driven architectures (Kafka) and workflow orchestration tools (Temporal).

– Experience migrating legacy systems (e.g., monolithic to microservices) or refactoring for architectural compliance.

– Background in healthcare technology or building enterprise-grade internal tools/platforms.
