Senior Software Engineer – Backend Development

Job Description

Education : Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.

Experience : Minimum 4 years of experience in a Java, Spring, Microservices, AWS

Technical Skills :

– Java and spring framework Rest API, Spring Batch, Gradle.

– Knowledge in AWS components & Angular.

Key Responsibilities :– Develop and implement the best software solutions that effectively satisfy business functional and non-functional requirements

– Adhere to Clarivate/First to File coding standards for excellence and industry best practices regarding the development processes

– Follow Scrum methodologies and actively participate in work planning, estimations or refinement sessions

– Work closely with the team to share responsibility of keeping time-commitments

– Collaborate with team members and other teams (DevOps) and groups (Product Management) within Clarivate

– Provide production support

– Refactor, update, and extend existing code and frameworks to remain current and maintainable
