As a Senior .NET Backend Developer at Bilue, you’ll be a key player in delivering high-quality, scalable, and secure backend solutions for our clients. Working in Agile, cross-functional teams, you’ll collaborate closely with designers, frontend engineers, delivery managers, and client stakeholders to create products that solve real problems and provide exceptional user experiences.

This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who thrives on building robust, performant APIs and backend services, while also mentoring others and contributing to a culture of technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Clients: Partner directly with clients and stakeholders to understand requirements, define technical solutions, and provide expert backend guidance.
• Build High-Quality Backend Solutions: Design, develop, and maintain .NET-based APIs and microservices that meet the highest standards of performance, scalability, and security.
• Technical Leadership: Mentor and support other developers, conducting code reviews and fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
• Agile Delivery: Actively contribute to sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, ensuring smooth, iterative delivery of client projects.
• Testing and Quality: Write clean, testable, and maintainable code, supported by automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.
• Problem Solving: Troubleshoot complex backend issues and propose scalable solutions, with a focus on delivering value to clients.
• Continuous Improvement: Contribute to architectural decisions, best practices, and tooling improvements to keep the tech stack modern and efficient.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of backend development experience, with deep expertise in .NET (C#).
• Proven experience designing and building RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure), including deploying and managing backend services.
• Solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases, with experience optimising data storage and retrieval.
• Strong experience working in Agile teams, contributing to collaborative planning and iterative delivery.
• Committed to writing high-quality, maintainable code with a focus on performance and security.
• Experienced in CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices.
• A proactive communicator who is confident engaging directly with clients and stakeholders.
• Passionate about mentoring and supporting the growth of other developers.
