Senior Machine Learning Engineer

Job Description

Senior Machine Learning Engineer to build and scale next-generation generative video systems within a world-class creative technology and VFX environment. You’ll focus on deep learning, diffusion models, and high-fidelity video generation, bridging advanced research with production-grade performance and reliability.

Day-to-Day

• Design, train, and optimise diffusion-based video models for realism, temporal consistency, and controllability.
• Implement large-scale training pipelines for high-resolution video, multimodal data, and distributed workloads.
• Translate research prototypes into robust, production-ready systems with strong performance and stability.
• Improve inference speed, memory efficiency, and model quality for real-world deployment.
• Collaborate closely with researchers, rendering engineers, and creative teams to integrate models into production workflows.
• Evaluate new architectures, papers, and tooling across generative video, neural rendering, and multimodal learning.

Skills Required

• Strong experience in deep learning with a focus on generative models, diffusion, transformers, and video architectures.
• Hands-on experience training large models on GPU clusters and managing high-volume video datasets.
• Expert in Python and PyTorch; comfortable building custom training loops and optimisation pipelines.
• Practical knowledge of video representations, temporal modelling, and perceptual quality metrics.
• Experience deploying and optimising models for production environments.
