Senior Java Developer – Microservices Architecture

Job Description

TDD mindset with hands-on experience in :

– JUnit

– Mockito

– TestContainers

– Ability to write integration tests, contract tests, and API tests

– Experience in TypeScript (30-50% work time)

– Good hands-on skills in React and modern UI patterns Next.js

– Component frameworks (Material UI, Tailwind preferred)

– Frontend testing exposure (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress)

– Git and branching workflows (Bitbucket preferred)

– Containerization experience (Docker)

– Basic understanding of AWS services (ECS, RDS, S3, CloudWatch)

– Ability to learn quickly in policy-as-code (OPA/Rego or Cedar)

General Engineering :

– Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

– Comfortable working in a rapidly evolving IAM/entitlement architecture

Nice to Haves :

– Prior experience with OPA/Rego, Cedar, or any policy-as-code system

– Experience with Cypress (functional/E2E testing)

– SCIM provisioning

– Experience with 12-Factor App and API-first development

– Experience with Bitbucket Pipelines

– Knowledge of Zero Trust, token introspection, or OAuth2 deep-dive concepts

– Exposure to subscription/entitlement systems

– Understanding of secure coding and API hardening
