Senior Java Backend Developer

Job Description

We’re looking for a Senior Java Backend Developer with strong Java skills and a solid background in distributed data processing. You’ve worked on systems where data moves reliably at scale — whether through streaming pipelines, batch jobs, or both — and you understand the JVM well enough to reason about performance when it matters. You’ll be contributing to open source data platform technology that leading enterprises worldwide depend on to process and manage their data

What You’ll D

Design and develop distributed data processing components in Java, with a focus on throughput, reliability, and correc

Build and maintain stream and batch processing pipelines that handle large-scale data workloads in producti

Apply JVM performance knowledge to optimize data processing systems under real production conditio

Collaborate with platform and data engineering teams to deliver scalable, well-tested solutio

Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering standards across the data platfo

Investigate and resolve performance bottlenecks and reliability issues in distributed processing componen

What We Are Looking

For:
– 5+ years of experience in IT

3+ years of experience with Java as a primary programming lang

Hands-on experience with distributed data processing sys

Background in stream or batch processing infrastruc

Solid understanding of JVM performance fundamen
