Senior Information & Network Security Lead

Job Description

The organization operates complex, always-on environments and places strong emphasis on information security, governance, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities :

– Define, implement, and govern the organizations information security strategy

– Oversee network security change approvals, controls, and governance processes

– Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures aligned with ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS benchmarks

– Conduct enterprise risk assessments and guide remediation and mitigation efforts

– Provide deep technical expertise in network security technologies, including :

1. Firewalls, IPS/IDS

2. VPNs, WAF, application gateways

3. Proxy and perimeter security solutions

– Ensure secure design and operation of infrastructure, including on-prem and cloud environments

– Monitor emerging cyber threats and recommend proactive security enhancements

– Ensure compliance with regulatory and audit requirements (SOC2, GDPR, ISO27001)

– Mentor and lead junior engineers to build a security-first mindset across teams

Key Qualifications & Skills :

Education :

– Bachelors or Masters degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, IT, or Computer Science

Experience :

– 15+ years of total IT experience

– 3+ years of dedicated experience in information security roles

– Strong background in enterprise network engineering and security

Technical Skills :

– Hands-on expertise in :

1. Firewalls, IPS/IDS, DNS, WAF

2. Routing & Switching

3. VPNs, application gateways, proxy security

– Working knowledge of cloud platforms :

1. Azure, AWS, Oracle Cloud, GCP

2. Cloud security fundamentals and best practices
