About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Backend Developer to join our project delivery team and play a key role in an exciting fintech initiative focused on fraud detection and prevention.

This is a highly technical, hands-on role where you’ll leverage your deep expertise in Golang and AWS to deliver robust, scalable, and secure backend services that meet enterprise-grade standards.

You’ll be joining a multidisciplinary team where detailed requirements, solution design, and architecture have already been defined. The core focus of this position will be execution and delivery building scalable, high-quality services that strengthen fraud detection capabilities for a major enterprise client.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain backend services in Golang within a microservices architecture.

Deliver high-quality, secure, and scalable backend solutions aligned with enterprise standards.

Manage and optimise AWS cloud infrastructure with strong DevOps practices.

Participate in architecture and code reviews, ensuring design integrity and quality outcomes.

Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, contributing to solution delivery and knowledge sharing.

Ensure high availability, performance, and resilience of backend systems supporting fraud detection use cases.

Essential Skills & Experience

8+ years of professional software development experience.

Extensive hands-on experience with Golang, including microservices design and development.

Proven expertise in AWS managing and deploying applications using infrastructure-as-code and DevOps practices.

Demonstrated ability to deliver enterprise-scale, high-availability, performant backend systems.

Strong background in API development, system integration, and service orchestration.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.

Prior experience in large enterprise environments.

Desirable Skills

Knowledge and experience with GraphQL.

Exposure to React or full-stack development environments.

Domain experience in fraud detection, risk management, or fintech projects.
